Meeting Minutes – January 28, 2008
Meeting Called to Order at: 7:35 PM

Secretary’s Report:
1. Club dues are due by the end of the February meeting and please provide a roster so membership cards can be prepared.
2. The president would like to put together an e-mail list for all Neba members so please provide those to the secretary.

Treasurer’s Report:
Financial Information not published on the Web.
We voted to give the Sportsmans Club $200 for letting us use their facilities. Also voted to give Ray Petlzman $180 for keeping up our web page

President’s Report:
By law changes are now up on the web page. Please make sure you read them closely. The major changes were anything pertaining to tournaments was removed and a tournament committee was formed. Also, anything dealing with the youth event was removed. However, clubs are encouraged to hold a youth event and Neba of Mass will help out in any way it can. We may still hold the youth event at Buffersville, but we need a committee and a chair for the committee.

Tournament Report:
The new tournament rules are up on the web page so please read them over CAREFULLY.

We also voted in one change in the points system. Now, if you come in with no fish, instead of only getting 40 points, you will receive 20 points less than the lowest finisher that had fish.

New Business:
We had a brief discussion about the boat expo at Marine USA. We voted to hold a 50/50 raffle rather than raffle off prizes. We will discuss this event more next month.
