Meeting Minutes – November 26, 2007
Meeting Called to Order at: 7:35 PM

Secretary’s Report:
1. Nothing to report, no meeting in October. Waived

Treasurer’s Report:

President’s Report:
1. WLA is voting on the 27th as to whether or not they will remain with Neba. Several members question what their $55 dues are getting them. This lead to a lengthy discussion about the future of Neba. We had a poor showing at the club championship and had to cancel our annual awards banquet due to lack of interest. The directors need to go back to their clubs and ask what it is that they want from Neba and to bring that info to the December meeting.

2. Since we cancelled the banquet and we budgeted about $1500, we have $900 left and it was discussed that we use that money to the payouts for the trail event. The directors are also being asked to bring that back to the clubs on what suggestions they may have for the use of that money.

Tournament Director-Paul Grzyb

Tournament Report:
1. Paul has permits for Quabog, Shirley, Conn. River Oxbox, Manchaug and Webster. We did not get Masphee Wakeby so he is looking into Singeltary.
2. Paul brought to the table a possible change to our TOC location as it is far to travel and costsly and maybe more folks would go if it were a little closer. Bellows Falls was a suggestion. Again, the directors need to bring this back to their clubs and get their input as well as suggestions for another site if they so chose and the results will be brought to the December meeting when a decision will be made.
